Student Responsibilities
1. To treat Mr. Flint with respect and care as an individual
2. To attend class each and every day
3. To be cooperative and not disruptive
4. To study and do your work (EFFORT = SUCCESS)
5. To learn and MASTER the required content
If you choose to fall behind with your responsibilities then it is very likely that you will either face disciplinary action or will not do as well as you had expected, depending on the case.
Arriving at class late, disrupting class, abusing your privilege to use the restroom and other common infractions will result in disciplinary action that will most likely follow this outline:
1. Verbal warning by the teacher and after class conference.
2. Assignment of after school detention.
3. Assignment of after school detention along with a letter home to your parent(s) or guardian(s).
If you chose to not complete assignments on time and/or do poorly on quizzes and tests then I will contact your parents/guardians to make them aware of the situation. They recognize the importance of your education as much as I do and they will want to know if you are not succeeding.
Be sure that you clearly understand the academic honesty policy found on the syllabus.
